The company was founded in Las Vegas in 1997 by Brent Wright, who had just completed the Stratosphere Tower and other high-profile Las Vegas projects. Brent cobbled together some used office equipment, brought his computer from home, and set up shop in a small three-room office with faded blue carpet and a roof that leaked whenever it rained. “Thanks to a strong economy, a bunch of talented, hard-working people, and lots of happy clients who kept coming back for more and bringing their friends, we paid off the loan and even turned a small profit by the end of our first year,” said Wright.
Wright Engineers grew quickly, eventually expanding into California, Arizona, Utah, and Texas, becoming a regional structural engineering powerhouse.
