How to Join the LVEA

Each industry is represented by only one non-competitive member firm. If a prospective member’s business classification is open, that company would be extended an invitation by a current member company and the process for consideration begins.

Steps to Membership

  • After you receive an invitation, you attend a breakfast meeting with the current member (host) who invited you
  • You express interest in membership with your host or the Executive Director
  • You schedule a short phone interview with the Recruitment Committee Chairperson
  • You and your company’s credentials/reputation are discussed for any overlapping classification concerns
  • You receive an invitation to apply for LVEA membership
  • Your application is reviewed and a credit check is conducted
  • Once your application and credit are approved, you schedule a visit with the Executive Director at your business location
  • Applications are voted on by the membership at large
  • Membership commences after approval

Please note: The membership process can take between 30-45 days
