Southwest Geotechnical is an engineering consulting company with about 60 people in Las Vegas. We provide drilling and geotechnical reports (soil reports) needed prior to submitting plans to the building departments. Additionally, we provide Phase I Environmental Site Assessments as they are often needed during the due diligence process on building or land purchases. During the construction phase of a project, we provide Special Inspection services which involve observations and testing of the work being performed by the contractor. We provide these services for grading, concrete, rebar, masonry, wood framing, bolting, structural steel, and welding. We also provide investigations into damaged structures to determine the cause of the damage as well as provide recommendations to repair the structures.
